Newline Privacy Policy

How Newline collects, uses, shares and protects the personal data of its Users — and what control you have over it.

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Newline (the "Operator", "we" or "us") handles personal data belonging to Users of the Newline platform — the website, the Android and iOS mobile applications, and the macOS desktop application. It applies whether you are browsing the public site, using the apps, registering an Account, or interacting with the platform in any other way.

The Operator is the controller of the personal data described below. By using the platform you confirm that you have read this policy and the Terms & Conditions, and you understand the basis on which your data is collected, used and shared.

Where this policy uses defined terms not explained here ("Account", "KYC", "Real Funds" and similar), those terms have the meaning given in the Terms & Conditions.

Updates to This Policy

The Operator may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the platform, in applicable law or in our internal data-handling practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page shows when the current version was published.

Where changes are significant we communicate them through the website, by email to your registered address, or through in-product notifications. Continued use of the platform after a change indicates that you acknowledge the updated policy. If you disagree with a change, you can stop using the platform and request closure of your Account through the procedures in the Terms & Conditions.

How Your Data Is Used in Practice

In day-to-day operation, the data we collect is used in these specific ways:

  • Authenticating you. Confirming identity at login and protecting against unauthorised access. Because the Operator does not currently offer two-factor authentication, this depends on your password and on technical signals such as IP address and device fingerprint.
  • Processing your money. Handling deposits and withdrawals, and confirming that the payment method is held in your name in line with anti-money-laundering rules.
  • Settling games and bets. Recording bets and outcomes, calculating winnings, awarding bonuses and free spins, updating Newline Points balance.
  • Meeting compliance obligations. Running KYC verification, sanctions screening, monitoring for unusual transaction patterns and reporting to competent authorities where required by law.
  • Communicating with you. Sending transactional messages (email verification, password resets, withdrawal confirmations, security alerts) and — with your consent — marketing about bonuses, tournaments and new features.
  • Supporting you. Investigating and responding to complaints, technical issues and questions you raise through live chat or email.
  • Improving the platform. Analysing aggregate usage patterns, running A/B tests, refining the platform's reliability, design and game library.

How Long We Keep It

After the applicable retention period, personal data is either deleted or anonymised so that it can no longer be linked to you.

Cross-Border Data Transfers

Personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including jurisdictions whose data-protection laws differ from your own. Where such a transfer takes place, the Operator applies appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law — typically standard contractual clauses with the recipient, or reliance on adequacy decisions by competent authorities.

You can request more information about the safeguards in place for any specific cross-border transfer by writing to support@Newline.bet.

Security and Account Protection

The Operator applies technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS, and encryption at rest for sensitive data.
  • Storage of passwords as salted hashes — never in clear text.
  • Access controls and the principle of least privilege for staff and external providers.
  • Logging and monitoring for suspicious access patterns and security incidents.
  • Regular security testing and timely patching of platform components.
  • Internal data-protection training for staff who handle personal data.

These measures reduce risk but do not eliminate it. The Operator does not currently offer two-factor authentication, biometric login or hardware-key support on the User-facing side, which means your password and the security of your linked email account play a particularly important role. Use a long unique password, secure the email account it's tied to, and never share login credentials — including with anyone claiming to represent Newline. Our staff will never ask for your password.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on the laws applicable to you, you may have the following rights in relation to the personal data the Operator holds about you:

  • Access — confirm whether we process your data and obtain a copy.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct data that's inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data, subject to retention obligations under AML and other laws.
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and transmit it to another controller, where technically feasible.
  • Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to direct-marketing processing.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent (such as marketing communications), withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of past processing.
  • Lodge a complaint — file a complaint with a competent supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.

To exercise any of these rights, write to support@Newline.bet from the email address registered to your Account. We may need to verify your identity before responding, particularly to prevent unauthorised access to your data.

Cookies, Local Storage and Analytics

The platform uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, device identifiers, web beacons) to operate the website and apps, remember your preferences, measure usage and improve the experience. The categories in use are:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for core functionality such as login sessions, the cashier and bet placement. These cannot be disabled.
  • Functional cookies — remember your language, currency display, time zone and similar preferences.
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand aggregate platform usage, identify performance issues and inform improvements.
  • Marketing cookies — measure campaign effectiveness and personalise promotions, where you have given consent.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent the platform from working correctly. The mobile apps use device identifiers and similar mechanisms instead of browser cookies for the same purposes.

Resolving Privacy Concerns

If you believe the Operator has not handled your personal data in accordance with this policy or with applicable law, please contact us first at support@Newline.bet so that we can attempt to resolve the matter directly. The Operator will acknowledge a privacy complaint within 1 working day and provide a substantive response within 30 calendar days.

If our response does not resolve the issue to your satisfaction, you may escalate the matter to a competent data-protection supervisory authority in your jurisdiction. This right exists independently of any contractual dispute-resolution mechanism in the Terms & Conditions.
